Your Internship Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
You will support the Brand Experience team in the execution of guest facing brand experiences in the EMEA region to deliver best-in-class consumer brand experience. Reporting to the Brand Experience Lead – EMEA, this role will be focused on supporting the execution of owned and sponsored events, including the Arc’teryx Academies throughout Europe as well as other brand moments where we invite our Arc’teryx guest community to experience the brand directly.
The positions is based in our Garching office (near Munich) and on a hybrid mode (2 days in the office, 2 days at home and 1 day at the discretion of the manager). The internship is for 6 months : starting date, August 2026 to February 2027. Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany.
Meet Your Future Team:
The EMEA Marketing Team is composed of passionate group of professionals, all with an international background. The main objective of the department is to develop and execute consumer-facing regional and global strategies for the European markets. In addition to reporting to the Brand Experience Lead – EMEA and working closely with the Brand Experience team, you will be collaborating cross-functionally with team members from the Global, Community, Communication and Sport Marketing teams.
If you were a Brand Experience Intern now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting the Brand Experience team with the execution of owned and sponsored events: logistics, planning, coordination
- Engaging relevant cross-functional partners facilitating collaboration and ensuring event brand integrity across all deliverables
- Coordinating assets brief needed to market events and brand experiences
- Seeding and product order support for the events
- Hosting and coordinating experiences and events remotely
Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your internship placement:
- You will gain experience coordinating events planning and execution
- Working closely with different marketing departments, both on the operational and strategic side
- You will understand the strategy behind marketing tactics
- You will work collaboratively with internal cross-functional partners, production agencies, external vendors
- You will have knowledge in creating and building structure for brand events to enable efficiency in the planning and execution process
Are you our next Intern Brand Experience - EMEA?
- You are currently enrolled, or have completed, a bachelor or master’s program in marketing, communication, business, sports marketing, event management or other fields relevant to the position, and must complete a mandatory internship as part of your degree.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are determined, pro-active, attentive and energetic
- You take responsibility for your tasks and projects
- You can work effectively in a fast moving, multi-project environment
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are passionate about community and experiential marketing
- You have knowledge of the sports apparel industry, ideally also of Arc'teryx
- You can communicate professionally in English, other European languages are a plus
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
- You are willing to travel to events, equivalent to 20% of working time
