Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

We're flexible in how we engage top talent and are open to both:

  • Full-Time Engagement: 40 hours per week

  • Fractional Engagement: 20+ hours per week for experienced Product Managers seeking a high-impact role with greater flexibility

This opportunity is ideal for product leaders who thrive in fast-moving environments and want to drive meaningful outcomes without the constraints of traditional corporate structures.

About the Company

Our client is a neuroscience-based technology company focused on transforming health behavior change through a positive, iterative approach to habit formation. Their platform enables users to test evidence-based healthy habits in real time — eliminating guesswork and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.

Our client operates as a 100% remote team, headquartered on a retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains, and is deeply committed to belonging, personal growth, and lifelong learning.

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Fractional Product Manager to work directly alongside our Head of Product and cross-functional teams to execute against our product roadmap. This is a tactical execution role — you will translate strategy and vision into well-defined, well-sequenced work that ships.

You will serve as the connective tissue between the Head of Product and our Behavioral Science, UX, Engineering, and Data Analytics teams — keeping delivery moving, removing blockers, and ensuring the right things get built the right way.

Key Responsibilities

Roadmap Execution

  • Partner with the Head of Product to translate product vision and strategy into a clear, prioritized roadmap.

  • Break down roadmap initiatives into well-scoped epics, stories, and tasks in Linear.

  • Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review ceremonies in coordination with Engineering.

  • Track delivery progress, flag risks early, and keep stakeholders informed.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Behavioral Science to ensure product decisions are grounded in Fresh Tri's neuroscience methodology and Iterative Mindset Method.

  • Partner with UX to move designs from concept to implementation-ready, maintaining high standards of usability and user empathy.

  • Collaborate with Engineering on technical scoping, sprint execution, and QA sign-off.

  • Engage Data Analytics to define success metrics, monitor feature performance, and surface insights that feed back into prioritization.

Product Quality & Process

  • Write clear, thorough product requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Maintain Linear as the source of truth for all in-flight and upcoming work.

  • Coordinate cross-team communication via Slack, keeping async workflows efficient and transparent.

  • Facilitate reviews of Figma designs with engineering to ensure feasibility and alignment before development begins.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management or product ownership experience, ideally in health tech, wellness, or consumer digital products.

  • Proven ability to operate independently and drive execution without heavy oversight.

  • Strong command of agile delivery — sprint planning, story writing, backlog management, and release coordination.

  • Excellent written communication and async collaboration skills; you default to clarity.

  • Hands-on experience with Linear, Figma, and Slack.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, engineering, data, and science stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a track record of shipping high-quality product on time.

  • Bonus: Experience with behavior change products, digital therapeutics, or GLP-1 / metabolic health use cases.

  • Tools: Linear, Figma, Slack
