Project Engineer
Location: Queens, NY
Salary: $80,000–$90,000
Seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support construction project delivery, coordination, and documentation on a design-build project in Queens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day construction activities and project coordination.
- Support project managers in tracking progress, schedules, and deliverables.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
- Track RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain project documentation including reports, logs, and correspondence.
- Monitor field activities and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of construction or engineering experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
