CNC Machinist/Programmer

Pay: Up to $33/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Day Shift (1st Shift)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machining Specialist with programming experience to support the production of industrial components and equipment. This position works closely with shop leadership and plays a key role in delivering high-precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from detailed machining blueprints and technical drawings
  • Program, set up, and run CNC lathes and milling machines
  • Ensure parts meet tight tolerances (as precise as 0.0005")
  • Develop and edit programs using G-code across various controls (such as Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain; experience with all is not required)
  • Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to verify accuracy
  • Maintain consistent quality and output standards
  • Follow all safety guidelines within a manufacturing environment
  • Maintain punctuality and a strong work ethic
  • Handle materials up to 50 lbs when necessary
  • Be available for required work hours, including occasional weekend shifts
