Cotswold Energy Group is an exciting, profitable company within a large growth sector supplying decarbonisation solutions to the domestic and commercial markets.

The company was founded by three childhood friends with the ethos of providing straightforward, transparent solutions to help customers harness the benefits of renewable technologies. As we have grown, this ethos has stayed at the heart of how we operate, and we promote a culture of support and togetherness whilst striving to be the best in the category.

We design and install renewable energy technologies, including ASHP, GSHP, WSHP and Solar PV, along with all associated building services.

We work with both Public and Private Sector clients, and our projects range from domestic residences through to commercial buildings, leisure centres, and education facilities.

We are seeking a Qualified Supervisor (QS) to be responsible for ensuring residential electrical installations are completed safely, compliantly, and in accordance with current regulations and certification requirements. The role supports compliance with NICEIC, MCS, and BS7671 standards across residential renewable and electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and assess electrical installation works carried out by engineers and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with BS7671, Building Regulations, and relevant industry standards.

• Carry out inspections, testing, and quality assurance checks.

• Review and sign off electrical certification and compliance documentation.

• Support NICEIC and MCS audit preparation and ongoing compliance activities.

• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.

• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and training.

• Promote safe working practices across all installation activities.
