Cosine at a glance
- Cosine is an autonomous, on-premise coding agent post-trained on human reasoning data to deliver unmatched software-engineering accuracy, security, and speed for regulated enterprises
- What makes us unique is our in-house ML research lab that post-trains LLMs (e.g. Nova, gpt-oss, Kimi) on proprietary software-engineering reasoning data to dramatically increase their coding accuracy. In 2024 this gave us a world-leading score of 72% on OpenAI’s SWE-Lancer benchmark
- Cosine is now the only available managed product that can be fully air-gapped and deployed on premises, exciting many bulge bracket but extremely risk sensitive and strict enterprises that have rejected all other solutions on the market. We've got our first pilots up and running with global investment banks and are now looking to scale our enterprise GTM function
The role
As an Enterprise Account Executive for Financial Services, you will own and close complex enterprise deals across banks, insurers, asset managers, and other highly regulated financial institutions. You will engage deeply with senior technology and security stakeholders and turn initial pilots into long-term, multi-year platform deployments.
This role is ideal for someone who has successfully hunted new logos in financial services, particularly selling developer tooling, infrastructure, security, or platform products into large engineering organisations.
What you’ll do
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from outbound prospecting through to close, including discovery, multi-threading, demos, security reviews, commercial negotiation, and procurement
- Proactively hunt and develop new financial services accounts, building relationships with CTOs, CIOs, CISO teams, and senior engineering leaders (e.g. Heads of Developer Tooling)
- Design and manage enterprise pilots, defining success criteria, technical validation milestones, and clear paths to production deployment
- Build and execute deal strategies, including mutual success plans, executive alignment, and competitive positioning
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to shape enterprise messaging, objection handling, and roadmap prioritisation based on FS customer needs
- Contribute to building Cosine’s repeatable financial services sales playbook, including qualification, pilot design, and enterprise rollout models
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management with clean CRM hygiene, clear next steps, and accurate forecasting
What we’re looking for
- A proven track record of closing complex B2B enterprise deals within financial services
- Strong experience selling developer tooling, infrastructure, security, or data platforms into large engineering-led organisations
- Background at, or selling products comparable to, companies such as Datadog, LaunchDarkly, Snyk, Vercel, AWS, Terraform, GitHub, Grafana, Cloudflare, GCP, or similar developer-first platforms
- Deep familiarity with regulated enterprise buying processes, including security, compliance, risk, and procurement
- Credibility engaging with senior technical and executive stakeholders, particularly CTO, CIO, and platform engineering leadership
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments and building structure rather than inheriting it
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and simply
Nice to have
- Experience selling on-premise or hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Prior exposure to AI, ML platforms, or developer productivity tooling
- A strong existing network within financial services technology organisations
Why join Cosine
- Opportunity to sell a category-defining product into some of the most sophisticated and demanding enterprises in the world
- Meaningful early equity with real upside
- Direct impact on product direction and go-to-market strategy
- Small, elite team with high standards and strong technical depth
How we work
- We are an in-office, high-ownership team. You will work closely with leadership, product, and engineering and have direct influence on how Cosine’s enterprise sales motion is built. Our current stack includes Attio, Lemlist, PostHog, Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace, with room to refine and improve as we scale.
Equal Opportunity
We’re an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from everyone who meets the role requirements, even if you don’t tick every box.
