We are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of the company’s finance function. As the key finance owner in the company, the Finance Manager manages the finance function end-to-end. The Finance Manager works closely with the CEO on financial planning, cashflow management, forecasting, reporting, and accounting.

The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong finance fundamentals with business acumen, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing company environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare and manage company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Develop and maintain:
    • P&L forecasts
    • Cashflow projections
    • Budget vs actual reporting
    • Financial dashboards and KPI reporting
  • Support scenario planning and financial modelling for business decisions

Business Planning

  • Advise the CEO with financial analysis and business insights
  • Assist with cost management and profitability tracking
  • Provide financial input for operational and strategic initiatives

Financial Operations

  • Do accounting using Xero
  • Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting
  • Monitor company cashflow, expenses, and working capital
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closing processes
  • Improve finance workflows, controls, and reporting systems

Audit & Compliance

  • Prepare company accounts, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for annual financial audits
  • Coordinate annual financial audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory filings
  • Work with external accountants, tax agents, and corporate secretaries
  • Prepare regular reports to shareholders
