The Role

As the HR Manager at INFINIT, you will own the full people function for a fast-scaling, multi-market fintech. This is not a traditional HR role — we’re looking for someone who combines solid HR and employment law knowledge with a genuine passion for building smarter, more automated people operations. You will inherit a lean but growing function and have the mandate to redesign processes, implement tooling, and drive recruitment across functions and geographies. If you love building things from scratch, are comfortable operating in ambiguity, and get excited by the idea of using AI and automation to make HR genuinely better, this role is for you.

What do we want to achieve together?

  • Own and evolve the full HR function across all INFINIT markets (Spain, France, UK, Luxembourg, Poland and new geographies to be launched including Germany and Italy), ensuring compliance with local employment law in each jurisdiction.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across all business functions and geographies — from sourcing strategy and job design through to offer and onboarding.
  • Audit, redesign, and automate people processes — from onboarding and offboarding to performance cycles, absence management, and contract workflows.
  • Build and maintain internal HR tooling and systems, leveraging AI-assisted development (e.g. Claude Code, no-code/low-code platforms) to create scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Design and implement a structured compensation framework with clearly defined role levels and career progression pathways across all functions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on all people matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organisational design.
  • Drive INFINIT’s culture and engagement agenda, including pulse surveys, wellbeing initiatives, and creating an environment where people do the best work of their careers.
  • Build out the People team as the business scales, defining what best-in-class looks like for a high-growth European fintech.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • 3–6 years of HR experience, ideally in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment, with a proven track record of building people processes from the ground up.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices across at least two European markets; comfort navigating multi-jurisdiction complexity.
  • Hands-on recruitment experience across multiple functions (commercial, tech, operations) and ideally across different countries.
  • A technical mindset — you are genuinely curious about automation, AI tools, and internal tooling. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable building with tools like Claude Code, Zapier, Make, Notion, or similar platforms to solve HR problems.
  • Demonstrable experience designing or improving HR processes and workflows, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and pace — INFINIT is three years old and there is a lot still to build. You should be energised, not deterred, by that.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you will work closely with a multi-national team across five markets and need to build trust quickly at all levels.
  • HR qualification (CIPD, SHRM or equivalent) preferred but not essential if offset by strong practical experience.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional European language(s) are a strong plus.

What will you find working at INFINIT?

  • Competitive Salary and Equity: We offer highly competitive salaries and a stake in our success with share options because we’re building this together.
  • Diverse and Inclusive Team: Join a dynamic and international team of 8+ nationalities. You’ll have the chance to work with experienced professionals from around the world, fostering a rich learning environment.
