Albert Bartlett, a market leader in the potato industry, is looking for a dedicated IT Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our IT systems to support the business’s daily operations and ongoing performance.

As the IT Systems Administrator, you will manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure, ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls, and provide technical support and training to staff. This role requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual capable of maintaining a high level of system availability and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network servers and IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights according to company policies.
  • Implement and maintain security systems, including firewalls, antivirus, and data backups.
  • Provide technical support to users and train staff on IT best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems and procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to system improvements and upgrades.
