Freelance | 8–20 hrs/week | Remote (EU/UK)

Are you an experienced M&A consultant or deal advisor with a keen eye for logical inconsistencies and a deep understanding of the practicalities of mergers and acquisitions? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your core responsibilities or consulting projects? Join us to shape how AI understands, interprets, and applies M&A expertise at scale.

About the Role
10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are seeking experienced M&A consultants based in the EU or UK to enhance the realism, technical accuracy, and actionable value of AI-powered M&A systems.

What You Will Do

  • Review and refine AI-generated outputs on M&A topics, including deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring, valuation, post-merger integration, and stakeholder management

  • Evaluate AI responses for deal realism, sound reasoning, and direct applicability to M&A scenarios

  • Draft realistic M&A case studies and negotiation scenarios informed by your direct deal experience

  • Create alternative scenarios from perspectives such as buyer, seller, advisor, or board member

  • Identify logic gaps, impractical responses, or oversights in AI-generated M&A content

In simple terms:
You will review and improve AI-generated M&A content to ensure it demonstrates authentic industry practice and robust commercial logic. Rather than conducting M&A transactions, you’ll use your expertise to help AI systems deeply understand the complexities of real-world deals at scale.

Who You Are

  • A senior-level M&A consultant, deal advisor, investment banker, corporate development leader, or similar

  • Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK

  • Several years of hands-on M&A experience, including deal execution, structuring, negotiation, or integration

  • Adept at identifying logical gaps, flawed assumptions, or unrealistic approaches in M&A scenarios

  • Comfortable working independently and providing clear, actionable feedback

  • Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term availability

Why Join?

  • Flexible, fully remote work that integrates with your existing workload

  • Apply your M&A knowledge in a ground-breaking AI context

  • Directly contribute to advancing the next generation of AI systems

  • Access to clear briefs, onboarding support, and structured projects

  • Potential for extended collaboration based on performance
