Senior Sales Executive (up to £33,000 plus commission)

About the role

IM Direct is an award-winning outbound sales team with big ambitions. Formed at the end of 2022 we sell cross platform advertising and audience-led solutions to SME’s incorporating digital, podcast and print options. We target direct clients across many verticals including entertainment, parenting, food, gardening, motors, and travel with budgets ranging from £5k - £80k.

So far, we’ve had lots of success and are looking to expand our team to take full advantage of the opportunities in the gardening and sustainability sectors. Our sales approach is consultative and fast paced. Our team values are built on collaboration, fun and a real desire to succeed which is reflected in a highly competitive commission structure.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will;

  • Responsible for delivering budgeted direct revenues (digital, print and podcasts) across IM Direct, via outbound reach including email, phone and by attending events.
  • Analyse and identify sector and market trends, to identify new business prospects, especially within gardening and relevant non-core sectors whilst maintaining existing relationships for long-term growth
  • Linked to the above, create a deep understanding, analysis and continuous monitoring of competitor sets, their ad revenue, client base and initiatives to help create leads lists and proactive pitches
  • Work collaboratively with other teams across the Advertising department to ensure client patches, product and market developments are clearly understood.
  • Analyse and identify sector and market trends, new products that will add value to IM Direct.
  • Work with the Head of Clients – Gardening to develop, communicate, and implement commercial business plans for your sector and brand.
  • Ensure that all bookings, proposals and contact reports are entered on the appropriate system, whilst working closely with accounts to ensure payment terms are adhered to
  • Working closely with the delivery teams ensure that optimum client service is delivered to all our clients to ensure repeat bookings
  • Act as a business ambassador on behalf of Immediate Media representing the company at B2B and B2C events and face to face meeting with existing and prospective clients.
