Join Finni South New Mexico as an ABA Behavior Technician!

Job Type: Part-time-Time (less than 30 hours per week)
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 900 am-5 pm
Locations: In-person - Las Cruces, New Mexico

The mission of Finni South New Mexico is to support the continuous growth and professional development of all team members, to empower our team members to deliver compassionate and evidence-based ABA therapy to our clients and their families, and to improve access to these ABA services for all individuals who need them.

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting

  • Collect and record data on child behaviors

  • Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst

  • Attend team meetings

What You'll Need

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

  • Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Active CPR certification (Preferred)

  • RBT certification: (Preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Required)

  • RBT certification (Preferred but not required)

Work Location: In person
