We’re growing fast and expanding our carrier network across Europe. As our network grows, the Carrier Team plays a key role in ensuring carriers are onboarded, activated in our systems, and ready to support our commercial growth.
The role
As a Carrier Account Executive, you own a portfolio of carriers and play a key role in expanding capacity, improving margins, and supporting Sales in winning new business.
You actively build and improve the carrier network, ensuring we have the right capacity, performance, and competitiveness to support growth. You play a key role in improving automation, service KPIs, margins, and win-rate.
What you’ll do
Build and scale the carrier network
- Proactively expand the carrier base for existing and new lanes
- Ensure strong capacity coverage aligned with business needs
- Identify and onboard new carriers to improve competitiveness
Drive onboarding & automation
- Onboard and activate carriers in CtrlChain systems
- Ensure full system adoption and drive a system-first way of working
- Increase automation by ensuring carriers use all relevant tools
Support Sales & improve win-rate
- Work closely with Sales on RFPs and new business
- Provide competitive carrier solutions and fast turnaround
- Contribute directly to improving win-rate
Optimize performance & margins
- Monitor carrier KPIs and proactively drive improvements
- Improve service performance (reliability, responsiveness)
- Optimize carrier selection to improve margins
Deliver insights & improve decisions
- Ensure carrier data is accurate, complete, and usable
- Provide insights to support pricing, planning, and strategy
- Identify structural gaps and improvement opportunities in the network
