Food & Beverage Assistant

 

An exciting opportunity has become available at Copthorne Hotel Newcastle for the Food & Beverage Assistant position. Our Food & Beverage Assistant will help the hotel to continue to deliver great service to our guests in the bar, restaurant and functions area.

  • Role: Food & Beverage Assistant
  • Hours of Work: Casual/As Required
  • Location: Copthorne Hotel Newcastle, NE1 3RT


As a Food & Beverage Assistant your responsibilities will include:

 

·         The service of food & beverage products in the bar, restaurant and function area.

·         To be able to understand and communicate effectively the menu and all products available to customers.

·         Deal with all payment transactions (Cash, card and room charging) according to company guidelines.

·         To provide a warm and welcoming service, ensuring that all queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly.

 

We are keen to hear from applicants with the following:

 

·         Experience in a food & beverage position.

·         Great customer service skills.

·         The ability to work under pressure as part of a team and maintain a professional approach.

·         Experience working with payments.

·         Experience of Micros would be an advantage.

·         Flexible to cover various shifts over the festive season including weekend party events.
