We are currently looking for a Category Manager for Joom Marketplace. The main goal is to help our senior managers improve the user experience while shopping in the categories and find the best sales growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the Home category performance on Joom, including key sales and quality metrics
  • Build and execute the category strategy: category positioning, assortment direction, seasonal focus, and growth opportunities based on trends and data
  • Drive assortment planning and selection: identify gaps, define priority subcategories/price tiers, and ensure competitive and healthy category coverage
  • Allocate and optimize traffic/resources for the category according to strategy, seasonality, and performance signals; continuously improve conversion and efficiency
  • Partner with KAM/BD teams to identify, develop, and support high-potential merchants, including assortment expansion, pricing, and execution quality
  • Improve category quality and customer experience by collaborating cross-functionally with product, operations, compliance/moderation teams
  • Track performance through dashboards and deep-dives; translate insights into clear action plans and measurable impact
