We are looking for a Head of Data to own and build our data function from the ground up. You will start hands-on, building the foundation yourself, then grow and lead the team around it. Act as a strategic leader and player-coach, setting the data vision for the company and ensuring our business stakeholders can trust the numbers they use every day.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define the company's data strategy: what we measure, how we measure it, and what we build next.

  • Establish a single source of truth for KPIs and metrics across the company.

  • Design and maintain robust data models using advanced SQL across multiple sources, specifically Salesforce, Stripe etc..

  • Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets that scale with the business.

  • Build a data governance framework - quality checks, validation, testing, and access controls to ensure trusted reporting.

  • Own the company's metrics layer, ensuring KPIs are calculated uniformly and never disputed.

  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio that actually get used.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define metrics, improve data usability, and ensure dashboards answer the right questions.

  • Work directly with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering leadership to understand their reporting and data needs.

  • Act as a bridge between technical data and business strategy — translating vague business questions into concrete data models and metrics.

    Core Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data roles (Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar), with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.

  • Strong SQL skills are essential. You must be comfortable writing complex queries, modeling multi-source data, and optimizing for performance.

  • Proven experience building dashboards in Looker Studio (or similar BI tools like Tableau/PowerBI, provided you can adapt quickly).

  • SaaS Domain Knowledge.

  • Familiarity working with business systems data, specifically Salesforce (SFDC), Stripe, and Product Events.

  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and lead independently with high ownership.

  • Leadership experience: you've hired, mentored, or technically led data people.

    Tools You Will Use

  • Data Warehouse: Google BigQuery

  • Transformation & Logic: SQL, dbt

  • Visualization: Looker Studio

  • Platforms: GA4/Google Analytics

    Salary Ranges

  • Gross salary is 6500 - 7500 EUR per month.
