We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support the newly established Teltonika office in Madrid. This is an individual contributor role focused on supporting employee experience, engagement, hiring & onboarding, and HR operations in a fast-growing international organization.

In this role, you will:

Manage all HR-related matters to drive continued best practices for our people:

  • Design, plan, and execute employee engagement programs and related internal activities.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with employees to continuously and proactively improve the overall employee experience.
  • Review and update HR policies, SOPs, and internal practices in alignment with global HQ standards and Spanish labor regulations.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, probation follow-ups, and HR documentation.
  • Handle payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support employees and resolve people-related matters with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and global/regional HR teams to align daily HR operations with employee needs and broader business goals.
  • Manage the recruitment process for the office.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a similar field of study.
  • 5+ years’ experience in human resource management within an international environment.
  • Experience in partnering with stakeholders as a subject matter expert with a consultative and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Strong experience in employee engagement, internal events, and culture-building initiatives.
  • A proactive, hands-on, and execution-focused mindset, with the ability to work independently in a new office environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and connect with employees across all levels, including HQ and local management.
  • Experience in identifying employee concerns, gathering feedback, and turning insights into practical HR actions.
  • Experience in managing employee lifecycle processes and HR administration, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits processes, as well as Spanish labor regulations.
  • Native Spanish speaker with business proficiency in English.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
