Position Summary 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven HR Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a key part in supporting HR operations that directly impact the employee experience across the organization. The HR Operations Analyst will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, maintain the integrity of HR systems and data, support compliance initiatives, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities 

HR Operations & Employee Support 

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, systems, and transactions 
  • Provide outstanding customer service by promptly resolving HR-related inquiries and issues 
  • Enter and maintain employee data and transactions in Workday and other HR systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies or missing information; escalate unresolved issues as appropriate 
  • Document HR processes and recommend improvements to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency 
  • Support initiatives and processes that enhance employee experience and operational excellence 

HRIS & Systems Management 

  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems, primarily Workday, to ensure data integrity and system efficiency 
  • Manage Workday transactions and EIB imports 
  • Generate, analyze, and maintain HR reports and dashboards to support business and leadership needs 
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support and training 
  • Develop and maintain documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures for HR systems and processes 

Compliance & Audits 

  • Execute HR compliance activities, including audits, documentation reviews, and record maintenance 
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support audit readiness, including benefits, I-9s, EEO reporting, and related compliance requirements 
  • Oversee unemployment claim processes, including research and submission of required documentation 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Produce recurring and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, turnover, onboarding, benefits utilization, and compliance metrics 
  • Analyze HR data trends and provide actionable insights to HR and business leadership 
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data across systems and reporting tools 

Project Management & Process Improvement 

  • Support HR Operations projects such as system enhancements, policy updates, implementations, and process improvement initiatives 
  • Assist with project planning, timelines, tracking deliverables, and cross-functional coordination 
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, simplify workflows, and increase operational efficiency 
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, HR Analytics, or related HR support functions 
  • Hands-on experience with Workday strongly preferred 
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and data management practices 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools preferred

This is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $65,000–$80,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
