MI & Data Operations Intern | Commercial Operations | Based in Barcelona

B2B sales teams are only as good as the data behind them. At Kantox, our Market Intelligence function defines who we target, how territories are structured, and how we measure account potential across global markets. We are looking for an MI & Data Operations Intern to keep that engine sharp, and to help us build the automated workflows that will power it at scale.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of B2B market data, territory strategy, and AI-enabled workflows. You will work with real data, real tools, and real stakeholders from day one.

What you will work on

  • Supporting GTM and market coverage exercises globally and across industries, using both internal and external tools
  • Maintaining and applying our account scoring model across the territory book
  • Keeping account and contact data clean, well-categorised, and ready to kick-start campaigns, combining market insights and intent signals to keep the target market scope dynamic
  • Building and testing new automated workflows for data enrichment, and documenting them clearly so Sales and BDR teams can adopt them
  • Supporting CRM field reviews and cleanup
  • Helping implement tools focused on CRM data quality, setting up tests, defining use cases, and building documentation
  • Building visibility and reporting on top of our internal dashboards, using AI features to surface insights, flag changes, and accelerate analysis
  • Building and maintaining documentation across every workflow, which becomes the foundation for training and scaling our internal AI Agents
  • Partnering with stakeholders across BDRs, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Ops, Business Intelligence, and Product to deliver on shared priorities

The setup

You will be based in our Barcelona office, working within the Commercial Operations team, reporting directly to the Market Intelligence and Sales Operations team manager. This is a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible. You will get hands-on exposure to how a profitable, scaling fintech structures its go-to-market engine, with direct visibility into territory strategy, data operations, and AI workflow deployment.

Who you are

You notice details others miss. Data cleanup, structure, and quality control feel satisfying to you, not tedious. You are curious about AI tools and willing to learn how to use them in real workflows: prompting, testing, iterating. You want to understand how B2B SaaS sales environments work and how AI is reshaping them.

You do not need to arrive as an expert. You need to be someone who learns fast, works carefully, and takes ownership of what they touch.

Concretely:

  • Background in Business, Sales, Fintech, Economics, or International Business
  • Fluent in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL or scripting (Python or JavaScript) is a plus
  • Basic familiarity with a CRM, or willingness to learn fast (training provided)
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with messy, real-world B2B data
  • Fluent in English; French is preferred and any additional language is a plus
  • Enrolled at a university or institution able to sign an internship agreement (mandatory)
