The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for supporting the company’s corporate and consolidated financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role plays a key part in the monthly and quarterly close process, consolidation activities, intercompany accounting, and audit support within a dynamic multi-entity environment.

The Senior Corporate Accountant partners closely with Corporate Accounting leadership, FP&A, Treasury, operational finance teams, and external auditors to support consolidated reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and drive process improvements across the accounting function. This position offers significant exposure to technical accounting, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly and quarterly close process for corporate and consolidated reporting, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with established deadlines
  • Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, and variance analysis of subsidiary results
  • Maintain consolidation and reporting structures within SAP/BPC, including entity hierarchies, account mappings, and intercompany relationships
  • Support intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliation of balances, investigation of variances, and preparation of elimination schedules
  • Perform accounting research related to complex transactions and new accounting guidance; assist with preparation of technical accounting memos and accounting policy documentation
  • Execute and document key internal controls related to the close and consolidation process, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements
  • Support external audit activities by preparing schedules, responding to audit requests, and assisting with supporting documentation for corporate and consolidated reporting areas
  • Partner with FP&A to analyze consolidated financial results, investigate variances to budget and forecast, and support management reporting requirements
  • Assist Treasury with preparation of financial information required for lender reporting, credit agreements, and bank audits
  • Prepare complex journal entries and supporting schedules related to corporate accounting activities, including equity accounting, allocations, and consolidation adjustments
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the close and reporting cycle, leveraging SAP and other reporting tools
  • Support accounting projects and initiatives related to system implementations, process enhancements, and reporting improvements
  • Collaborate with accounting team members to promote consistency in processes, documentation, and best practices across the organization
