About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to define and execute our infrastructure vision while staying hands-on day to day. You’ll be responsible for reliability, scalability, security, and developer productivity across our cloud and CI/CD stack. This role reports to the Head of Engineering and partners closely with Product and Engineering teams to help us ship faster with confidence.

What you'll do:

  • Own the DevOps/Platform vision and roadmap: reliability targets, scalability strategy, security posture, and cost-efficiency.
  • Stay hands-on: design, implement, and operate core infrastructure (Kubernetes, cloud networking, CI/CD, observability, secrets management).
  • Build and maintain strong delivery pipelines: CI, CD, environments, release processes, and safe deployment practices (feature flags, rollbacks, progressive delivery).
  • Raise the bar on reliability: SLOs/SLIs, on-call practices, incident response, postmortems, and proactive risk reduction.
  • Drive observability end to end: metrics, logs, traces, alerting quality, and actionable dashboards.
  • Partner with engineering squads to improve developer experience: local/staging parity, tooling, golden paths, documentation, and self-service.
  • Manage cloud cost trade-offs pragmatically, keeping speed and reliability high while controlling spend.
