Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment.
Shiftmove exists to make this simple. We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Most recently, we acquired Optimum and Ocean in France, expanding our footprint and doubling down on one of Europe's largest fleet markets. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility — all from one place.
The Role
You are walking into one of the most strategically important product domains at Shiftmove. The platform and ecosystem layer — the connective tissue between Avrios, Vimcar, Optimum, Océan, external partners — currently needs dedicated product ownership. That means there is real work to do, and real space to shape it.
You will own the product direction for this layer: deciding what becomes a reusable platform capability, what should stay market-specific, and where the team focuses first. You will work directly with Engineering, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders across Germany and France to bring clarity to an ambiguous domain and turn complex problems into focused product direction.
This is a build and define phase — not a steady-state role. The scope is large, the stakes are real, and the person who takes this on will have a direct impact on Shiftmove's ability to expand across Europe, grow cross-sell revenue, and establish the platform foundation behind the leading fleet mobility ecosystem on the continent. This is a mid to senior level role.
What You'll Do
Platform & Ecosystem Strategy: Own the product direction for our platform and integration scope, connecting our products, external partners, market-specific systems, and customer workflows across Europe.
Ambiguity into Direction: Create structure where ownership, priorities, and system boundaries are not yet fully defined. Decide what becomes a reusable platform capability, what should stay market-specific, and where the team focuses first.
Discovery and Delivery: Lead discovery and delivery for core platform capabilities: shared workflows, reusable integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and interoperability between products.
European Market Expansion: Build internationalisation capabilities that help our core products scale beyond one market at a time — starting with France enablement and designing for reuse across future markets.
Cross-Product Portfolio: Shape initiatives that bring Avrios, Vimcar, Optimum, and Océan closer together — reducing friction for customers and unlocking stronger cross-sell opportunities across the portfolio.
Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Engineering, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, country teams, and senior leadership to align priorities and move complex topics forward across products and markets.
Focus and Ownership: Protect the team from reactive request intake by setting clear priorities, defining ownership boundaries, and keeping focus on long-term platform value over one-off solutions.
