About the Role:

We're hiring Software Engineers to design and build the services that power Redpanda's Agentic Data Plane (ADP), AI infrastructure connecting AI agents with enterprise data in real time. You'll join our Warsaw-based ADP team, collaborating with cloud and ADP peers across Europe and US.

You'll design and ship components of our ADP product, which builds on Redpanda's Bring Your Own Cloud, Serverless, and Redpanda Connect offerings. You'll help operate the services you build, contributing to our 99.99% SLA, and collaborate with peers across Cloud, Core, and Platform engineering to deliver robust, scalable agentic AI systems.

This is a hybrid role based in our Warsaw office (minimum 3 days/week on-site).

You Will:

  • Design, build and operate features across our ADP and cloud services on AWS, GCP, and Azure, including control plane and data plane components

  • Turn product requirements into clear technical designs

  • Take ownership of your tasks and delivery end to end, and contribute to architectural discussions

  • Spot technical risks early and work with your team to mitigate them, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery

  • Hold a high bar for reliability, scalability, performance, and security in the code and services you ship

  • Participate in the on-call escalation chain, helping reduce escalations and improve operational health

  • Build resilience and observability into the systems you work on, so we can run enterprise-grade agentic services in the cloud

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience building and operating production services in public cloud environments

  • A track record of owning features end-to-end, from design to production operations

  • Proficiency in Go (or comparable systems language with willingness to ramp)

  • Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)

  • Working knowledge of at least one of AWS / Azure / GCP, including IaC for system and network infrastructure

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable working in a globally distributed, async-first team over GitHub, Slack, and docs

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and customer-facing stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes

  • Experience building or operating SaaS platforms

  • Experience with streaming platforms as a user or provider
