About the role...

We are currently seeking to recruit a high caliber, energetic individual to join our Software Development team, in Strasbourg as Software Engineer. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our core business in Large Scale Information Systems. The company is currently expanding its activities, offering an optimum career advancement opportunity for the successful candidate who should combine a relevant educational and professional background, with enthusiasm and eagerness.

What you will do...

• Development, configuration, maintenance and documentation of software components based on the applicable design specifications;
• Development and integration of technological components;
• Design automation testing scripts for conducting unit testing and integration testing in development environment;
• Participation in code reviews to ensure adherence to best development practices, improve code quality and security, and facilitate knowledge sharing;
• Assist in the preparation/maintenance of technical documentation for components during their development, and other technical documents including installation and operation manuals;
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.

Technical Skills required...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other relevant field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, including 3 as a Software Developer;
• Extensive hands-on experience (3 years minimum) with Java and Spring, Spring Boot;
• Experience developing and deploying applications in microservice architectures.
• Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken.

Exposure in the following will be considered as an asset:

• Experience with CI/CD;
• Knowledge and/or experience in Oracle, Postgres.
