Position Overview: We require an enthusiastic, practical & pro-active Trainee / workshop assistant. With the move of the workshop to new premises in central Bedford, this role will be assisting with cleaning and inspection of basic hire equipment while training on inspection and repair of more technical hire items.
Key responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining the presentation of equipment
- Inspecting and testing returning hire equipment (training given)
- Ensuring the THX identification numbers are clearly marked and visible on all items
- Using a computer-based system for administration of the inspections
- Regularly checking, cleaning, and tidying our workshop.
- Providing support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams, as required
