Job Summary
A rapidly growing miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation company is seeking experienced Welder/Grinders for its Hanover, PA shop.
Responsibilities
- MIG welding and grinding of stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals
- Operating an overhead crane
- Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures for quality and integrity
- Working with carbon steel railings and other fabricated components
Required Qualifications
- Experience with MIG welding, especially on carbon steel
- Skilled in using various welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Competence in basic math and geometry
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a dependable, self-driven work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Welding Certification
- Experience working with miscellaneous metals
- Familiarity with stringers for stairs and/or porches
