About the Role
We’re looking for a Buyer to join our UK Commercial team in London, working in a hybrid way (1–2 days in the office). This is a brilliant opportunity to own key branded partnerships, shape our gifting range, and drive growth across some of Moonpig’s most important categories.
You’ll take the lead on strategic partnerships, using data and insight to make smart trading decisions that deliver for our customers and our business. From negotiating with suppliers to launching new products, you’ll play a hands-on role in a fast-paced, tech-led environment with real room to grow.
Working closely with teams across marketing, sales, and operations, you’ll help bring new ideas to life and influence the future of our gifting offer.
Key Responsibilities
- • Own relationships with new and strategically important brand partnerships, building their presence on the Moonpig platform
- • Build and deliver clear strategies and seasonal plans to meet sales, profit, and customer goals
- • Use customer insights, trading data, and market trends to shape range, pricing, and promotions
- • Influence the product roadmap with developments that enhance the UK gifting offer
- • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive growth
- • Develop and implement pricing strategies
- • Manage supplier relationships, including regular check-ins, joint planning, and continuous improvement
- • Represent Moonpig in the market through trade shows, supplier meetings, and trend analysis
- • Line manage and support a Buying Admin Assistant through coaching, feedback, and clear goal setting
About You
- • Solid experience as a Buyer or Category Manager within e-commerce, retail, or gifting
- • Strong track record of delivering results through effective ranging, pricing, and trading decisions
- • Confidence using data and insights to guide commercial decisions
- • Experience managing complex or personalised products, particularly in fast-paced or seasonal environments
- • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to spot opportunities in data
- • Skilled negotiator with experience building relationships at a senior supplier level
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
- • Experience supporting or leading others, either through line management or project work
- • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-moving environment
Interview Process

• Final stage interview with Hiring Manager, Buying Director, and Head of E-commerce (in person)
