About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our Inbound, Space, Projects, and Inventory operations at our Tamworth site. This is a working leadership role where you’ll combine operational delivery with team coordination, helping to keep stock moving safely, accurately, and efficiently across the warehouse.
You’ll play an important role in driving operational performance, maintaining high standards, and supporting a positive team culture. Working closely with Supply Chain, internal teams, suppliers, and carriers, you’ll help ensure smooth communication, effective problem-solving, and reliable operational delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing frontline leadership with practical operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
The first stage of the interview process will be an onsite assessment day. We’ll update shortlisted candidates with further details. Candidates successful at the assessment stage will then be invited to a final onsite interview with the Hiring Manager and one additional team member (45–60 minutes).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily activities across Inbound, Space, Projects, and Inventory operations.
- Allocate workload effectively to ensure priorities and service levels are achieved.
- Monitor workflow throughout the shift and respond to changing operational demands.
- Act as a first point of contact for operational queries and escalations.
- Support inbound, stock movement, inventory, and space utilisation activities within the operation.
- Safely operate VNA/forklift equipment in line with site procedures and licence requirements.
- Support stock putaway, replenishment, relocation, and housekeeping activities.
- Build strong working relationships with Supply Chain teams, suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate operational updates, priorities, risks, and performance information clearly.
- Support productivity, quality, service, and stock accuracy targets.
- Track team performance and support corrective actions where required.
- Provide coaching, guidance, onboarding, and day-to-day support to team members.
- Conduct team briefings and communicate operational priorities.
- Support project and change activity across the department.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, stock accuracy, and space utilisation.
- Ensure all activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures and operational standards.
- Support audit readiness, compliance activity, and housekeeping standards across the department.
About You
- Valid VNA/Forklift licence.
- Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of inbound operations, inventory control, stock management, or space planning.
- Experience supporting or leading teams within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to balance hands-on operational tasks with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with confidence working across teams and external contacts.
- Comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good working knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices within warehouse operations.
- Positive and collaborative approach to teamwork and continuous improvement.
