Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and control systems across plant operations
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, PLC systems, drives, and high-voltage equipment (up to 480V)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and mobile equipment
- Diagnose issues using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment
- Support electrical systems for pumps, cranes, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Assist with installation and maintenance of automated systems, including control panels and distribution systems
- Balance electrical loads and wire complex circuits
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and materials used
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Successful completion of an electrical entrance assessment
- 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of shop math, measurements, and technical documentation
- Understanding of AC/DC motor theory and PLC troubleshooting
- Familiarity with electrical controls, drives, NFPA 70E, and high-voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience using standard electrical tools and diagnostic equipment
